MyFav*GoldVerse -

By having 2 members to share their Favourite Gold*Verse everyweek from now on, we shall help everyone to carry a few Bible GoldVerses in their pocket, so that we could learn and share God's word in a fun and casual way ...
More importantly, we learn these Goldverse in heart and talk to people around us any time, any place ! This is our basic responsibilities being a Christian to spread and sharing the gospel.

Psalms 139:13-16

13You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous – how well I know it.
15You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.
16You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.

Everyday when we look at the mirror, we are looking at the works of God. Our every features, be it good or bad, were made by God. But beyond the physical sense, our spirit and soul were intricately made by God too. Our personality, our character, our passion, our desires, our abilities and “disabilities”, were all strategically and meticulously put together by God. I envision we were like pieces of white canvas, upon which God has unleashed His creativity. Imagine an artist/architect/designer/composer, wild with passion, overflowing with love, brimming with creativity, putting out every ounce of energy, just to bring to live this unique, perfect piece of work, YOU and ME.

Question is, do we really see ourselves as that beautiful creation of God? Or all we see is an old, tattered piece of paper, torn around the edges when you were hurt, with random black blotches when you were betrayed, a hole in the middle when you were disappointed?

When we look through the eyes of man, all we see is ugliness, brokenness, uselessness, hopelessness. When we look through the eyes of God, through the lens of grace and love, we see hope, future, peace, which is God’s initial and only intention.

What is your choice?
